We are currently seeking a compassionate Therapy Assistant (known internally as Personal Care Worker - Therapy) to join our home care team at Springhaven Lodge in Kojonup on a part time basis.
About the role
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will work closely with our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day-to-day activities. You will possess highly developed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inter-disciplinary team and make meaningful connections with our residents and their families.
What you’ll bring
Before you can be considered for this role, we’ll need make sure you possess the following:
- Cert III in Individual Support (or similar)
- Completed Therapy Assistant Certificate or equivalent units of competency
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Evidence of Influenza vaccination, and
- Full working rights in Australia.
