As a Archaeology Consultant, every day is different! You'll make an impact by:

- Contributing to practical, technical and advice on a range of archaeology and heritage subjects
- Undertaking consultation and fieldwork – in accordance with the relevant guidelines and protocols
- Demonstrating high level research, interpretation, report writing and communication skills
- Working across a wide range of applications with an ability to contribute to proposals, tenders & submissions for potential projects
- Assisting in the undertaking of projects, client and other stakeholder relationships and work to specification and deadlines

- A tertiary qualifications in archaeology coupled with relevant experience in the archaeology industry
- Being an approved Heritage Advisor as defined in the Aboriginal Heritage Act (2006) is highly regarded
- A proficient understanding of and ability to apply statutory heritage legislation, principles and the Victorian Heritage Act (2017), Aboriginal Heritage Act (2006) and the Victorian Planning and Environment Act (1987)



to resolve and advise on projects
- Experience in preparing Letters of Advice (LoA), Due Diligence Assessments (DDA), Preliminary Aboriginal Heritage Tests (PAHT), Cultural Heritage Management Plans (CHMP) and Historical Archaeological Assessments (HAA)
- An ability to undertake archaeology research utilising multiple sources and methodologies to present accurate preliminary assessment of findings
