The Role
We’re looking for either a solicitor or career paralegal who wants to develop their skills in workers compensation, motor accidents, industrial deafness, and TPD claims. You’ll work closely with our Principal Solicitor and supportive team on a variety of meaningful cases.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Assist with client enquiries and case management
- Prepare and lodge forms, funding requests, and documents with the Independent Review Office (IRO) and Personal Injury Commission (PIC)
- Liaise with barristers, clients, medical professionals, insurers and solicitors
- Help prepare matters for settlement conferences and hearings
- Draft correspondence and legal documents in LEAP
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years’ experience in personal injury law (workers compensation, motor accidents or similar)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A team player who can also run with things independently
- Comfortable with deadlines and file management
- Tech savvy with Microsoft Office, Adobe and LEAP
- Familiarity with the Personal Injury Commission (PIC), Independent Review Office (IRO), or NSW Online Registry is a bonus
- Vietnamese language skills are a plus, but not essential
