Salary: $106,512 - $115,137 p.a. (pro rata) ASO7 | 0.9 FTE – 33.75 hrs p / w – 24 Month Contract

About the Role
The Community Engagement Adviser is responsible for advancing SALHN’s commitment and strategic vision to build connections with our community to drive meaningful change, enhancing relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. The role will also be responsible for driving the development of SALHN's Community Engagement Plan.

Relevant qualifications or experience in Community Engagement
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a capacity to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders on a range of sensitive and complex issues to achieve positive outcomes
- The ability to work with communities to understand how services should be developed to meet their health needs and translate this into improvements
- Demonstrated experience and ability to work successfully in a multi-disciplinary environment,
including facilitating the achievement of collaborative outcomes, developing and implementing tools for training programs for multi-disciplinary staff, and liaising and consulting with a range of external agencies
