Graduate Civil Engineer – Civil & Roads (Brisbane)

Program Overview
- The 2026 Graduate Development Program is a two‑year, full‑time scheme that provides a smooth start to a consulting career.
- During the first year you’ll focus on fundamentals, knowledge of project delivery and industry basics.
- In the second year you’ll choose where you want to develop – deep technical work or mentorship and leadership skills.
- Program participants receive a broad look at wider career pathways and the chance to contribute to design, bids, tenders and occasionally on‑site work.
Responsibilities
- Support the Civil and Roads team in delivering a variety of transport projects, including general civil infrastructure and roads.
- Assist in understanding client and project technical requirements, and develop solutions through assessments, calculations, technical reports, designs, specifications, quantities, proposals and presentations.
- Participate in inspections and observations of construction phase services (subject to review by instructing engineers).
- Work collaboratively with a high‑performing team, managing tasks independently and as part of a group.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Graduate by December 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (interest in roads preferred).
- 0 to 2 years of consulting experience.
- Strong communication skills for technical writing and verbal expression to clients, subcontractors and colleagues.
- Data analysis and interpretation capability.
- Full driving licence and willingness to undertake long‑distance and off‑road driving (training provided).
- Australian citizenship.
