Job Description
About the Role
Our client is a global Technology & Cloud Infrastructure host in a Data Centre environment. We are looking for skilled and high‑performing security officers. Successful applicants will play an important role in ensuring that clients’ data integrity is maintained at all times. The security team will need to deliver this service in accordance with Securitas’ values – Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
The primary functions being undertaken will be security screening to ensure only authorized equipment and person access and egress from our client’s facilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting a restricted area.
- Ensure compliance with all Security Procedures & Policies.
- Identify prohibited items and prevent them from being introduced to or removed from a restricted area.
- Issue and audit security visitor and contractor badges in line with security policies.
- Raise and modify Access Requests using client software programs.
- Escalate and report on incidents and provide daily activity reports in writing.
- Patrol assigned areas and report issues to the regional control room.
Location: Huntingwood, NSW. Roster: Rotating roster 4 on 4 off - 12 hour shift - (Days and Nights).
Desired Skills and Experience
- NV1 Clearance is a must!
- Current NSW Security License.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Experience in Data Centre Security desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer service experience.
