The chance
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Works Coordinator to join our Skilltech team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective scheduling and administration of field activities, supporting the delivery of project milestones and contractual obligations.
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will liaise with technicians, clients, and customers to coordinate work orders and drive operational excellence.
This is a full-time permanent Monday to Friday opportunity that is based out of our Rydalmere office.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in scheduling and administration tasks.
- Strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and analytical tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
You’ll also need to demonstrate:
- In-depth understanding of efficient scheduling principles.
- Sound customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work constructively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
