SK SOLAR OZ have been working with world leading renewable energy contractors on some of the largest solar farm projects in Australia. We are located in NSW and service solar farm projects across VIC, QLD, NSW & WA.

For years we have successfully delivered the installation of various tyles of solar panel and clamping systems; Installed harness / jumpers on tracker systems; Connection of solar panels and solar panel clips; Logistics and staging of solar panels from delivery to install; Scanning and log records off arrays and feeders; and Mechanical installation of trackers / mibs / dampners for solar farm projects across VIC, QLD, NSW and recently, WA.

We are currently looking for MECHANICAL TEAM LEADER TRACKER INSTALLATION to join our team, responsible for leading and managing a team for the mechanical assembly and installation of solar tracking systems for solar farm projects.

The role is responsible to execute daily work instructions received from SK SOLAR OZ Site Supervisor and SK SOLAR OZ Management in a secure and timely manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements and contract provisions.

Main Tasks include:

· Lead and manage a team of solar panel installers, ensuring efficient distribution of tasks and maintaining high productivity;

· Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety standards,



work schedules and quality expectations;

· Mechanical duties including, tubing, Panel Rails, post heads, splice brackets, slew drives and motors. Selection of appropriate tools and equipment for assembly and installation required;

· Provide guidance, training, and support to new and existing team members;

· Ensure proper alignment and positioning of panels to maximize energy efficiency;

· Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment; and

· Quality Assurance,inspections,sign off ITPs and ITCs

Tertiary Qualifications in technical Mechanical Engineering are desirable and/or significant experience in this field.

Experience working within the photovoltaic industry is essential; as too, experience of remote work locations.

Further Requirements are that you must be well organised; have good communication skills; are able to delegate; can use spreadsheets and type emails and word documents; are reliable and trustworthy and have a positive attitude.

Salary is AUD$87,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Position is full-time (38 hours per week).

The position is situated in Dubbo, NSW (2830) with travel required.
