**Role Overview**

This is a **hands-on, execution-focused role** that supports the day-to-day e-commerce operations of FunkyFunYou. Core responsibilities include order processing, shipping coordination, customer service, inventory tracking, and backend admin work.

We’re looking for someone who is **rapid, reliable, proactive**, and comfortable with repetitive operational tasks. This is **not a creative or design-focused role**, but if you have additional creative skills and are genuinely interested in contributing beyond operations, there may be future opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage Shopify backend (orders, product updates, basic maintenance)
- Oversee packing coordination and shipping logistics
- Monitor inventory, manage restocking reminders
- Liaise with suppliers in Chinese and/or English
- Support workshop preparation when needed (material sorting, event setup)
- Assist with general administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly

This is a “get-things-done” role. Not “wait-for-instructions” role.

✔ Fast learner & hands-on mindset

✔ Executes without overthinking - solves problems instead of escalating them

✔ Good attention to detail (packing accuracy, communication tone, documentation)

✔ Emotionally stable - doesn’t resist repetitive tasks

✔ Takes responsibility when mistakes happen (“I’ll fix it” attitude)

✔ Experience in small business / e-commerce is highly valued

**Bonus (Not Required, Just Nice-to-Have)**

⚪ Basic design (Canva / Adobe)

⚪ Basic video editing or social content layout

⚪ Interest in creative entrepreneurship or handmade industry





⚪ Prior workshop or event experience

⚪ Previous experience in small business / creative team environment

**Work Structure & Pay**
- **2-3 days per week** to start (option to grow based on capability)
- **On-site in Blackburn studio**, some flexibility/remote once trained
- **$25-35/hour**, depending on experience
- Opportunity to expand scope/responsibility based on performance
