ROLE: PostGres DBA
LOCATION: Melbourne
Key Requirements:
- Postgres DBA to support, manage and maintain our database workloads
- Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS)
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions
- Ensure data integrity and security by establishing database access controls and backup protocols
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and archiving
- Develop and implement database recovery plans and disaster recovery strategies
- Collaborate with development teams to design database schemas and optimize queries
- Analyse and troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies
