About Us:
Metroll is a leading independent Australian manufacturer and supplier of metal roofing, cladding, rainwater, structural and fencing products to the commercial and residential building market.
Metroll Brisbane is looking for a proactive and reliable Despatch Co-ordinator to join our fast-paced logistics team based in Richlands.
In this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating daily despatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery schedules, and supporting communication between drivers, customers, and internal departments.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Transport Manager, your duties will consist of, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and schedule daily dispatch activities.
- Monitor freight movements and adjust transport plans if required.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal team members.
- Handle Internal & external email enquiries relating to transport and despatch functions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and system administration updates.
- Support a high-volume, fast-paced logistics for a building materials and manufacturing environment.
- Undertake duties to maintain CoR compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid organisational and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable starting early at 4:00 AM
- Good computer skills including excel, word, outlook and Pronto software knowledge would be advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills on the phone, direct and email.
- Experience in logistics or dispatching (preferred but not required).
