About the Role
Reporting directly to the Osborne Manager, you will fulfill both grain export AO and Team Leader responsibilities concurrently. A proactive, hands-on approach will be essential to perform successfully in this key leadership role. This position also offers an excellent work–life balance, operating on a 4×10-hour workweek Monday to Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Primary Responsibility
As a grain export AO, you are to implement besides oversee all daily export requirements as set out by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry regulations.
As Team Leader, you are responsible for overseeing all day-to-day quality control packing line procedures in line with the export and customer standards.
Collectively, you are to make sure our product quality checks and bagging, or bulk activities match all AO obligations to meet loading and despatch schedules set.
Key Duties Include:
· Supervising all grain export AO procedures in conjunction with KIPG grain processing principles
· Compulsory checks of all product receival and processes thru to finished product loadout
· Ensure all KIPG QA criteria inspections and e-paperwork trials are accurate as well filed correctly
· Uphold KIPG product traceability procedures to meet both grain export AO regulations and Company inspections
· Supervise grains sampling and storage for customer product lifecycle information as required
· Make sure Osborne site hygiene and housekeeping values are adhered to at all times
· Demonstrate an ability to build & encourage strong working relationships
· Remaining passionately committed to KIPG policies and procedures
· Being a genuine team player with a strong 'hands-on' mindset
· A 'can do' attitude and collective work ethic supporting the team continuous improvement ethos
· Working within the production team to help facilitate effective delivery of quality grain in line with customer specifications and achieve shipment schedules in a timely cost-effective manner.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
· Currently AO accredited (non-negotiable)
· Must hold Grain Export AO accreditation specifically for grain export operations
· Qualified to classify/test grains under GTA rules
· Hold and maintain a high-risk forklift licence (or prepared to obtain)
· Background overseeing and being part of a small collaborative team environment.
