Project Officer
- Salary: $97,955 - $111,142 (Plus Superannuation)
- Ongoing, full-time (flexibility may be available)
- Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available)
The Role
The ideal candidate will bring exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders across various levels to support the delivery of key projects. You will effectively influence outcomes by tailoring your communication style to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
Main accountabilities:
- Prepares reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level
- Prepares project scopes and briefs within broad parameters
- Drafts reports and recommendations by interpreting and analysing data
- Determines operational service delivery plans based on accepted standards
- Contributes expertise to a team working on complex projects
- Negotiates and manages straight forward, corporate contracts and service agreements
The Team
The position of Project Officer forms a part of the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) within the Skills and TAFE Group.
The OTCD incorporating the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance branch and the TAFE Performance, Finance and Infrastructure branch, plays a system leadership and management role for the Victorian TAFE Network (VTN) across Victoria.
The OTCD is primarily responsible for driving change in the way in which the Victorian TAFE Network provides training as a coordinated network and serves Victorian students, employers and communities and responds to Government priorities.
