Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate NDIS Support Coordinator to empower individuals with disabilities by coordinating their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plans and services. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between clients, service providers, and support networks, ensuring each person receives tailored assistance that promotes independence, community engagement, and overall well-being. Your enthusiasm and dedication will drive positive outcomes and foster meaningful relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. We're also open to subcontracting.

Duties

- Develop and implement personalized support plans aligned with each client’s goals and NDIS requirements.
- Coordinate access to services such as therapy, community activities, housing, and employment support.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of client progress, service arrangements, and plan reviews.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, service providers, and government agencies to ensure seamless support delivery.
- Assist clients in understanding their NDIS plans, funding options, and claim processes through clear guidance.
- Monitor service quality and advocate for clients’ needs during plan reviews or when issues arise.
- Provide ongoing support to help clients navigate the NDIS system confidently and independently.

Skills





- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse communities.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for client advocacy.
- Proficient in data entry, record keeping, and Microsoft Office applications for accurate documentation.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and outbound calling experience to engage with clients and providers professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to handle client inquiries with empathy while maintaining professionalism in call center environments.
- Analytical skills to assess client needs, evaluate service options, and develop effective support strategies.
- Experience in customer support or client services roles within disability or community sectors is preferred.
- Knowledge of the NDIS framework, policies, and funding processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Bilingual skills or proficiency in additional languages can enhance communication with non-English speaking clients.
- Strong computer skills including typing speed, data management, and familiarity with relevant software platforms. Pay: $50.00 – $75.00 per hour
