SpeaksCraft (previously known as Talent Club Australia) is one of Australia’s leading communication-skills academies for young learners. We help children build confidence through our engaging program that blends Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Debating and Drama.
We are growing and looking for warm, energetic, and reliable Teaching Aides to support our coaches during after-school classes, weekend sessions, and school holiday workshops.
If you love working with children and enjoy creating supportive learning environments, this role is for you.
What you will do
- Support the lead coach during classes in public speaking, debating, drama and creative writing when required
- Help set up learning spaces and assist with smooth class transitions
- Provide one-on-one encouragement to students who need extra help
- Assist with supervision, behaviour support, and engagement activities
- Communicate with parents in a friendly and professional manner
- Contribute to a positive, safe and fun learning experience for every child
- Substitute as a coach and facilitate classes yourself
Who we are looking for someone who:
- Has a background in education, psychology, performing arts, debating and public speaking
- Has at least 2 years of experience in teaching children (schools, tutoring, coaching or similar)
- Is confident, clear and friendly in spoken English
- Brings energy, patience and creativity to every class
- Is reliable, punctual and comfortable supporting a lead coach
- Is available after school hours and/or weekends during school terms
- Can work during the school holidays
- Holds a valid drivers license and can drive to our locations across Sydney
- Holds an Employee Working With Children Check
