Join Barclays as an Investment Banking Off-Cycle Intern to work on live deals, financial analysis, and client solutions within a global top-tier bank.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Collaborate on live deals, client pitches, and advise a broad range of corporate clients with structured solutions.
- Work with Coverage and Mergers and Acquisition teams on transaction execution, financial analysis, valuation, industry research, and client due diligence.
- Develop written materials including offering memoranda and new business presentations.
- Support cross-functional teams on business initiatives and participate in training and development programs.
- Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and assist in launching new products and services for investment banking.
- Build and implement financial models and strategies to support decision making.
- Understand business operations and learn from industry experts.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Undergraduate students with anticipated graduation between mid-2026 and early 2027.
- Outstanding academic performance and a keen interest in finance and business.
- Resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm,
and an entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated through extracurricular activities.
- Ability to perform tasks timely and to a high standard, with in-depth technical knowledge in assigned areas.
- Strong understanding of investment banking principles and concepts.
- Capability to collaborate, lead or support teams, and communicate complex information effectively.
- Commitment to Barclays Values: Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship.
- Willingness to work part-time during the internship.
Training & Development
- Receive guidance from senior and junior mentors throughout the internship.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
