Snug in Coorparoo / Camp Hill is a small Korean inspired cafe and wine bar.
We are seeking a casual Commis Chef or experienced cook to join our small, hard working team, working 20-30 hours. We operate seven days, with a variety of shifts available.
Snug operates a little differently, with no devide between front of house and back of house. Our team works together towards a common goal of offering a unique experience and a high quality product. We are creative and don't allow our limitations to impact the ambitions we have to deliver a small, consice and ever-changing menu.
Our open kitchen and bar area with counter seating means that you should feel comfortable interacting and serving our customers directly and have outstanding product knowledge.
You're main responsibility will be to prepare,
cook and present meals but you will also be trained to greet and engage with guests, operate the till, have basic knowledge of our drinks offering, run food & drinks and clear tables.
Some knowledge of Korean or Asian food and ingredients is preferred but not essential.
This position will suit a chef who is looking to be more well-rounded in the industry, or one that is looking for a healthier and more balanced lifestyle to the industry norm, without compromising the quality of their work.
On top of your hourly rate and superannuation, you will be offered staff meal and drinks with each shift and the opportunity to grow and develop yourself alongside us and our business.
