Job Description
Franklin Downs PTY LTD is a farm located in Toora VIC 3962 at the top of Corner Inlet opposite Wilsons Promontory National Park and a short 5 minute drive to the lovely little town of Toora in South Gippsland Franklin
Downs PTY LTD is now looking for an experienced Dairy Farmer Cattle Operator to join their team. The right candidate will: Read and record instrument information i.e. Milk vat temperatures and cow numbers
Undertake multiple functions, produce a quality outcome e.g. Farm machinery Operate milking plant and equipment. Operate standard measuring equipment
Know general scientific terminology and assist with processes such as machine repair,
artificial insemination, fertiliser mix design etc. Operate computerised system using menu options. About you:
At least 1 year of experience as a Dairy Farmer Cattle Operator; Patient, hardworking, resourceful, trustworthy, loyal and efficient; Understanding and passion for the Dairy industry;
Sound knowledge in Farming Techniques, animal husbandry and welfare; Aware of and can follow work health and safety requirements; To be able to work and communicate effectively as part of a team.
Job Type: Permanent/full time Salary: $74,000 - $86,000
