About the Role:
As the HR Business Partner, you’ll work as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across manufacturing and distribution, helping them navigate people challenges and align workforce strategies with business needs. This is a hands-on, diverse role where you’ll manage ER/IR matters, support cultural initiatives, and contribute to leadership capability programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with site-based leaders to align people practices with operational goals
- Manage ER/IR matters independently, including enterprise bargaining and complex case management
- Support leaders with coaching, performance reviews, and conflict resolution
- Navigate and apply EA provisions in unionised environments
- Drive initiatives focused on engagement, leadership development, and process improvement
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in ER/IR, including enterprise bargaining (must-have)
- Ability and willingness to travel to multiple sites 3 days per week (must-have)
- Experience in a generalist HR role within operational or blue-collar environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a busy, complex setting
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (preferred)
