Experienced Loader Driver - Concrete Batching Plant - ASAP Start

About Us: Randstad is a leading provider of high-quality concrete solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We operate a modern, high-volume concrete batching plant at Swanbank and are committed to safety, efficiency, and excellence in all we do.
The Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Loader Driver to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the protected and efficient operation of a front-end loader within our concrete batching plant. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of plant operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a front-end loader to move and load raw materials (aggregates, sand, etc.) into the batching plant's hoppers.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure a consistent supply of materials to meet production demands.
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the loader to ensure it is in good working order.
- Assist with general plant housekeeping and maintenance as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the plant operator and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a loader driver, ideally within a concrete batching plant or similar heavy industry environment.
- Valid and current Australian driver's license and relevant plant operator's license/ticket.
- A strong understanding of loader operation, safety protocols, and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Desirable (but not essential) Skills:
- Experience with other heavy machinery (e.g., loaders, forklifts).
- Knowledge of concrete production processes.
