Job Description
We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to work closely with Employers' and Program staff and Managers and training organsiation's to find and create sustainable jobs and career opportunities through employer engagement and employer stakeholder meetings to drive sustainable job placement activity for the Workforce Australia and Inclusive Employment Australia participants. This role will be based in Cairns however will cover both Cairns and Townsville region.
This will be a high-volume role placing multiple participants into sustainable employment.

- Skill in understanding employer workforce needs and aligning them with jobseeker capability
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills to create sustainable employment pathways
- ability to design and pitch inclusive employment solutions to employers including role carving and job design
- Car and driver's license
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Time management and organisational skills- well-presented and personable
- Well-presented and personable
- Strategic thinker. Able to provide strategic advice, develop options, analyse risks, make good judgements, and solve problems.
- Able to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect and rapport with internal and external networks.
- Must have WWCC and satisfactorily pass a police check
