About the role:
Do you enjoy travelling around the Greater Bendigo Regions with ADAPTABLE SHIFTS Monday – Friday, to suit your lifestyle?
We are currently recruiting experienced female workers to join our Home Care and Commonwealth Home Support (CHSP) programs based in the Bendigo area.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care that promotes the safety, well-being, and individual preferences of each client.
- Travel to clients’ homes to provide high-quality personal care, supporting daily living with dignity and respect.
- Independently manage shopping tasks, demonstrating honesty and reliability when unaccompanied.
- Build positive relationships by engaging with clients and the community, acting as a trusted social support.
- Use fluent English to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team, and to report any changes in a client’s health or well-being.
- Adapt care plans to meet each client’s unique needs and changing circumstances.
- Perform a range of domestic assistance tasks—including laundry, vacuuming, and mopping—to maintain a clean,
safe, and comfortable home environment.
Relevant Skills & Experience:
- 1-2 years’ relevant experience (desirable).
- Experience caring for clients with limited mobility (desirable).
- Familiarity with mobility and support equipment such as adjustable beds, hoists, commodes, and wheelchairs (desirable).
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong people skills.
Certificates & Licences:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or an equivalent qualification ie nursing degree, diploma and/or currently studying – must have completed ‘Aged Care’ component and placement.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance, or a willingness to obtain one.
- A valid Victorian Driver Licence.
- Mandatory vaccination health orders apply to this industry.

Pay: $38.91 – $45.88 per hour
