About the role
Redeemed Care Inc is seeking passionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join their team in Welshpool, WA. This is a full-time chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in your local community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide personalized care and support in the homes of people with disability.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment for clients, promoting independence and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or higher qualification in Individual Support, Community Services, or a related field
- First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (if working under the NDIS)
- Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Police Clearance
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for clients
- Ability to provide personal care (hygiene, dressing, mobility assistance)
- Medication management (if trained)
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
Minimum of 3 years previous experience in NDIS service, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
Empathy and a genuine passion for enhancing the quality of people with disabilities.
