About the Position
As a Care Support Worker, you will:
- Assist residents with daily care needs such as personal care, mobility assistance, and mealtime support
- Offer companionship, emotional reassurance, and encourage dignity and independence
- Support facility staff with general care tasks and resident wellbeing
- Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide safe, respectful, and person-centred care at all times
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care/Disability) or equivalent
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar care setting (preferred)
- Willingness to work across multiple facilities in Newcastle and the Hunter Region
- Valuable availability,
ideally for weekday morning and afternoon shifts
- Current First Aid & CPR, Manual Handling, and Infection Control training
- Police Check completed within the last 12 months
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
