About the role
DOMU inspectors complete pre-purchase and pre-settlement inspections for homes and investment properties. Using our digital reporting system and guided templates, you’ll assess the property’s overall condition, including structure, maintenance issues, and visible defects.
Each inspection takes around 20-30 minutes. You’ll drive to the property, take clear widescreen photos and a short video walkthrough on your mobile phone, then upload your notes and media through our platform. No tools, trade work, or repairs are required.
You’re the objective set of eyes helping buyers and investors make confident decisions before settlement. DOMU handles the bookings, templates, and admin so you can focus on delivering accurate, high-quality reports.

What we’re looking for
We’re after people who:
- Have a keen eye for detail and pride themselves on thorough, accurate work
- Are comfortable using their mobile phone for photos, videos, and short reports
- Have reliable transport and are confident getting to properties in their local area
- Are professional and punctual when attending bookings
- Enjoy independent work with flexible scheduling
- People with their own ABN / Insurance
Experience in property, building, real estate, or inspections is helpful but not essential. Full onboarding and support are provided.
Job Types: Subcontract, Freelance
Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
