We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to assist an elderly participant with a disability in [Armadale]. The ideal candidate must have a robust background in aged care and a gentle, patient approach.
About the Role:
Location: [Armadale]
Schedule: [Mon-Fri 6-7 hours shifts, Weekends inclusive]
Duties Include:
Personal care (showering, grooming, dressing).
Manual handling (using a hoist/transferring from wheelchair) –
Meal preparation and assistance with feeding. Community Participation Support
Companionship/Managing Behaviours
Light domestic duties.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum [1] years of experience in Aged Care or Disability Support.
Experience with manual handling, slide sheets.
Current Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Driver’s license and own vehicle.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $30.31 – $33.15 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
Education:
- Certificate I - IV (Required)
Experience:
- Agedcare/Disability Support : 1 year (Required)
Licence/Certification:
- Full Driver Licence (Preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (Required)
Location:

Willingness to travel:
- 25% (Preferred)
