Position Overview
We are currently seeking a male support worker with an African background to support one of our participants during weekly community access near Carlingford.
About the Role:
The support worker will be required to:
- Accompany and support the participant during soccer sessions every Friday
- Provide encouragement, safety supervision, and social engagement
- Assist with transport (if required)
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and culturally sensitive approach
- Follow organisational policies and uphold qualified boundaries
Requirements:
- Previous experience in disability or community services (preferred)
- Valid WWCC, Police Check, and First Aid/CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (desirable)
- Ability to build rapport and encourage participation
- Must be available every Friday from 1 PM to 5 PM
