About the Role

RPMGlobal is seeking an experienced technical content developer to develop technical mining software and training content. This is a full time role based in RPM’s Brisbane CBD office.

This role will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop technical software content, training materials, release notes, knowledge articles, and other content deliverables for our RPM’s Mine Planning and Scheduling products. The successful candidate will be able to develop close working relationships across all divisions of the business to help them create clear and concise written content.

Being able to effectively communicate is critical to this role. Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to communicate clearly and correctly in their CV and application.

The successful candidate will commence on or after 12 January 2026, with a mutually agreed-upon start date.

RPM has entered a Scheme Implementation Deed with Caterpillar (CAT). This agreement formalises the terms under which CAT will acquire RPM. The acquisition remains subject to approval by RPM's shareholders, regulatory clearances, and other customary closing conditions. We anticipate the transaction will be completed in the first calendar quarter of 2026.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and create clear, concise content deliverables that communicate technical information to RPMGlobal clients. Deliverables can include help, release notes, installation guides, admin and other technical documents, and knowledge articles.
- Ensure documentation consistency, uniformity, accuracy and ease of use for customers.
- Able to work with and understand various software packages in the RPMGlobal suite, particularly in mine planning and scheduling.




- Assist and/or develop technical overview documents for review.
- Develop and update classroom training materials and potentially eLearning.

About You

- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Writing, Communication, Information Technology, or Mining Engineering.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
- Experience writing to a defined style guide.
- Effectively manage your own projects.
- An aptitude for learning new software applications.
- Experience in Madcap Flare, Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience in eLearning authoring software (Articulate Storyline or equivalent) would be beneficial.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work with a small but mighty team of content colleagues.
- Must be based in Brisbane and eligible to work in Australia.
