Production Compounder – Animal Healthcare Manufacturing

We are a growing manufacturer in the animal healthcare industry, producing high-quality products that support the wellbeing of animals across Australia. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Production Compounder to join our team and support the safe, accurate and efficient manufacture of our liquid and powder formulations.
This role is ideal for someone with factory or industrial production experience, especially in batching, compounding, mixing or blending operations. This is not a laboratory compounding role—it's a hands-on production position requiring physical fitness, attention to detail and strong adherence to GMP processes.
About the Role
As a Production Compounder, you will be responsible for preparing and producing product batches in accordance with manufacturing instructions and quality standards. You will work with raw materials, mixing equipment, scales, pumps and blending tanks, ensuring all products are made safely, accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Weigh, measure and prepare raw materials according to batch manufacturing records.
- Operate mixing, blending and production equipment including tanks, agitators, pumps and transfer systems.
- Follow GMP principles, SOPs and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain accurate batch documentation and production records.
- Conduct in-process checks such as pH, temperature and batch weight verification.
- Assist with equipment cleaning,
setup and changeovers between batches.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily manufacturing targets.
- Safely lift and handle raw materials, which may include bags, drums or containers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area.
About You
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, batching, compounding or mixing (essential).
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar controlled manufacturing environments.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, lifting up to approximately 20–25 kg.
- Comfortable working with scales, measuring equipment and industrial mixers.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Safety-conscious with a positive, proactive attitude.

Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour
