Location: Nowra, NSW (working within a SIL home)
Hours: 10-40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
As a Support Worker with Hive Care Group, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting independence. Your day-to-day duties may include:
- Personal Care Assistance: Supporting clients with daily personal tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Community and Social Support: Assisting clients to engage in social activities, attend appointments,
or participate in community events to help foster social inclusion.
- Domestic Support: Helping with light household duties like meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning to create a comfortable living environment.
- Health and Well-being: Assisting with medication management, monitoring health conditions, and encouraging clients to engage in health-promoting activities.
- Life Skills Support: Assisting clients in developing skills for daily living such as budgeting, cooking, and improving communication.
- Developing Client Relationships: Building trust with clients and understanding their unique needs to provide the best possible care.
What We're Looking For:
- MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER
- Previous experience working within a SIL home environment is HIGHLY DESIRED
- MUST BE ADAPTABLE WITH SHIFT AVAILABILITY - Day, Afternoon and Overnight (6 hours active, 6 hours inactive)
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities and a commitment to promoting independence
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and team members
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a positive and proactive approach
- Ability to follow support plans and communicate client progress with supervisors
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR certification, PRN (or willingness to obtain)
