In this role, you'll:
Join our Network Maintenance team where your focus will be responsible for the day-to-day logistics and facilities management function at a Satellite Network Base including materials resources procurement and for maintaining the inventory systems and processes required by Satellite, to achieve maintenance objectives.
Order, maintain and issue all inventory and material resources, including any required emergency stores, to enable the effective and efficient running of the Satellite Network Base.
Process inventory transactions and maintain the inventory management systems and processes, sustaining appropriate levels of inventory, controlling issues, and accurately report on inventory levels. You'll also evaluate appropriate suppliers, obtain quotes, and prepare requisitions or other documentation for the procurement of required material resources.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide responsive, accurate and customer focused service across multi-disciplinary teams with different needs and priorities.
This is a permanent full-time position located on-site at Surry Hills.

About you
Demonstrated experience in materials management and management with an understanding of with an understanding of relevant operational requirements and specifications. Qualifications in logistics or procurement would be advantageous.
Sound understanding of logistics principles, safety and compliance and you take a proactive and initiative led approach to process improvements.
Hold a current NSW Class C Drivers licence and are comfortable driving a 4WD/ UTE type vehicle. You also have a Forklift Licence or able to gain one within a reasonable timeframe.
Excellent customer service and communication skills and a pro-active approach.
