The Role

We are seeking reliable and compassionate Support Workers to assist NDIS participants with daily living, community access, and skill development. You will be working directly with participants in their homes and in the community, supporting them to achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care (e.g., showering, dressing, meal preparation).
- Assist with household tasks (cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping).
- Support participants to engage in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Provide transport to appointments, work, or activities (where required).
- Complete documentation including progress notes and incident reports.
- Work in line with True Embrace’s policies, NDIS Practice Standards, and participant rights.

You enjoy building positive relationships and supporting people to reach their goals.

Essential Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- National Police Check (within last 6 months).
- Working With Children Check (if supporting participants under 18).
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module (“Quality, Safety and You”).
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Full working rights in Australia.

Desirable

- Experience in disability, aged care, community services, or similar fields.
- First Aid & CPR certificate.
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services.
- ABN and can work as a Sub-contractor.
