Shifts: Monday – Friday after 6pm | Overnight Shifts – 32 hours per week
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented overnight cleaner to carry out nightly cleaning tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness at a premium client site.
In this role, you will be responsible for nightly deep cleaning tasks that cannot be completed during business hours including vacuuming, mopping and resetting high-traffic areas such as offices, meeting rooms, restrooms and other staff amenities.
You will work independently after 12am, ensuring the building is clean, refreshed and ready for the following business day. Regular communication with your supervisor and head office will be necessary to ensure consistency and high standard in the service we supply.
This role is supported by the daytime cleaning staff who maintain the building during standard business hours.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning standards and is available to work overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Following a schedule of work that includes daily, weekly and monthly standard cleaning tasks, such as:
- Dusting and wiping down all surfaces, including quarterly deep cleaning of all desks
- Removing rubbish and replacing bin liners throughout the building
- Deep cleaning all restrooms and shower/locker rooms including toilets, urinals, showers, sinks, mirrors and surfaces
- Cleaning tea points and kitchenette’s by wiping down surfaces, cleaning sinks, cleaning appliances, managing dishwasher cycles and emptying bins
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Weekly cleaning of internal fridges
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in commercial or facility cleaning (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management (essential)
- Highly reliable
- A motivated and proactive approach to your work
- Ability to work independently and comfortable working alone overnight in a secured building
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Current police check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two references that illustrate you meet the above criteria
