About the role
Headland Technology Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Service Engineer to join our team in Rydalmere, NSW. This fulltime role will involve providing technical support and maintenance for our range of CNC machines. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production equipment.
What you'll be doing
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic issues with sheet metal machines
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical components and control systems
- Liaise with operators and technicians to understand and resolve equipment problems
- Implement upgrades and modifications to improve machine performance and reliability
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and outcomes
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on the proper operation of equipment
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements
What we're looking for
- Factory trained in OEM technology
- Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic and or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Service Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment and with our own brands
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with electrical and electronic systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
- Initiative, attention to detail and a commitment to workplace health and safety

Pay: $105,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
