Clinical Support Specialist

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for someone who is happy to work as a casual employee. The hours of casual work are flexible, however, as a guide, working every 3rd Saturday and one day during the working week. We're looking for someone who:
- Is motivated and an extremely professional individual.
- Has a strong work ethic and professional outlook.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, building strong relationships.
- Has a can-do attitude and can work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Has a strong knowledge of anatomy and or operating room surroundings.
You'll be responsible for:
- Providing clinical support for surgical procedures in theatre
- Building relationships with our key surgeons and their nursing staff by way of
- training, education, and clinical case support
- Ensuring that all surgical cases are properly equipped with the required
- instrument kits, implants, and user guide as per each customers' requirements.
And to be successful you’ll need:
- Experience in a clinical or theatre environment or have a background in nursing,
- Preferably scout/scrub nurses who have had exposure to spine and/or orthopaedic cases.
- A tertiary education in a related medical field such as a physiotherapist,
- paramedic, biomedical engineer, science (anatomy) or nursing is ideal.
- Direct experience working in an operating theatre environment
- Resilience and versatility: you can work autonomously or in a team and are
- passionate about providing first class customer service.
- Current driver’s license (essential) and be flexible to travel in Victoria.
