About the Role
We’re excited to announce a newly created Sales Associate role based in our North Sydney branch. If you’re starting out in sales or have a background in appointment setting/cold calling with a desire to move into field sales in the future, this could be the opportunity for you!
In this role, you’ll receive mentoring and development while building the foundations of a sales career. Your focus will be on setting appointments for our Sales Executives across NSW & ACT, with a clear pathway to progress into a field-based Sales Executive role in 12 months.
What you’ll do:
- Set appointments for our field-based Sales Team through cold calling and market research activities.
- Assess prospects’ needs and tailor your approach accordingly.
- Use NCI’s suite of solutions to spark interest and open doors.
- Manage and maintain data in our CRM (Pipedrive).
- Complete follow-up activities, reporting on calls, appointments, and outcomes.
You will accompany our Sales team to meetings where appropriate to learn the ropes and to develop your skills with the aim of moving into a Sales Executive role in the 12 months .
About you
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong verbal communication skills and ideally, experience in cold calling in a B2B setting.
- A natural ability to build rapport and a resilient approach.
- A desire to progress into a field-based Sales Executive role with NCI.
- An interest in finance/insurance and demonstrated ability in picking up technical concepts and explaining them with ease.
- Self-motivation and a desire to exceed targets set.
- A results driven mindset.
- Excellent presentation and the ability to interact professionally with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in outbound calls and the use of Pipedrive or similar CRM software (desirable).
