ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a business-to-business (B2B) role primarily responsible for providing professional and structured management consulting support to JobABC’s corporate clients, helping them improve operational efficiency and achieve their commercial and operational objectives. Core responsibilities include business diagnosis, organisational analysis, process optimisation, strategic planning, project management, and change implementation. The role requires strong analytical abilities, solution design capabilities, and cross-functional coordination to ensure consulting recommendations can be effectively translated into actual operational outcomes for clients.
This position sits within JobABC’s Consulting & Recruitment Department and reports to the Director. The role requires close collaboration with internal project teams, client management personnel, and other external stakeholders.
REMUNERATION
A highly competitive salary package will be offered, commensurate with your skills, experience and current Australian market rates for senior consulting roles.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Engage with corporate clients to conduct in-depth consultations, gather and organise business information and data, and perform comprehensive research and diagnosis of their business model, organisational structure, operating processes, and management practices.
- Identify key management, organisational,
workforce and process-related challenges based on interviews and data analysis, determine root causes, assess impact scope and define improvement directions as part of comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
- Prepare structured management analysis reports and communicate findings to executive-level audiences in a clear and qualified manner, highlighting potential improvement areas and recommended directions.
- Develop actionable management improvement solutions (including organisational design/restructuring, business process improvement, workflow redesign, resource planning, workforce strategy alignment) to support clients’ operational efficiency and organisational development needs.
- Assist clients in formulating medium- to long-term business strategies and break these down into phased goals, implementation pathways, and action plans.
- Apply structured project management methodologies to manage and deliver business transformation, process optimisation or HR governance improvement projects from planning through to execution.
- Provide ongoing guidance to client management and operational teams during change implementation to ensure smooth execution and achievement of expected outcomes.
- Assist clients in establishing monitoring mechanisms, continuously track the effectiveness of improvement measures, conduct regular evaluations, and propose optimisation suggestions.
- Prepare high-quality business deliverables and presentation materials (including research reports, process maps, organisational design documents, and implementation plans), and deliver training sessions where required to facilitate clients’ understanding and alignment on change initiatives.
- Proactively conduct market research and benchmark studies to monitor industry trends, management practices, and emerging technology applications,
and provide clients with highly forward-looking and innovative solutions to maintain the competitiveness of our consulting services.
- Provide regular updates to the company’s management team on project progress, milestones, and market feedback to support service optimisation.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Commerce, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in management consulting, corporate management, business operations, organisational development, strategic analysis, or related advisory roles.
- Prior experience in business analysis or client relationship management is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of business models, organisational management, business processes, and strategic frameworks, with the ability to conduct systematic analysis.
- Strong and structured problem-solving, data analysis, and research judgement skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into executable solutions.
- Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong cross-team communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations clearly to clients.
- High level of responsibility, initiative, and willingness to learn and grow continuously.
