Join the RGIS Casual Stocktake Team – Sydney South Area
RGIS is a global leader in stocktaking and inventory solutions, supporting major retailers across Australia and internationally. We are currently seeking committed, energetic, and detail-focused individuals to join our casual stocktake team in South of Parramatta Road , with immediate starts available.
This role offers excellent flexibility, engaging work, and the chance to gain valuable experience across a variety of retail environments. No prior stocktaking experience is required—full training is provided.
About the Role
As an RGIS team member, you will conduct stocktaking across a range of retail outlets throughout Sydney South. Every shift offers something different, making this an ideal role for those who enjoy variety, problem-solving, and working in dynamic environments.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate:
- Flexibility to work a casual roster, including early morning or evening shifts
- Understanding that weekly hours vary depending on business needs (from one shift per week to several)
- Reliable transport, as public transport may not operate at required start/finish times
- Age 18+, due to work in liquor/tobacco retail environments and full-shift availability requirements
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
- A positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to excellent service
- Ability to:
- Stand for extended periods
- Climb ladders and count stock at varying heights
- Use handheld scanning devices
- Perform light to moderate lifting (5–10kg), bending, squatting, and repetitive movement
- Willingness to occasionally work in warehouse environments or cool rooms (short durations)
- Ability to travel occasionally to surrounding areas such as Hurstville, Rockdale, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Sutherland, Miranda, and Cronulla
Important Information
- RGIS applies junior rates for employees under the age of 21 in accordance with the Miscellaneous Award. These rates are set by Fair Work and automatically apply to successful applicants aged 18–20.
- Most stocktakes run for 2–6 hours, though shift lengths vary depending on client requirements.

The stock on the shelf includes:
Shiraz: 8 full boxes, 1 box with 2 bottles, and 5 loose bottles
Rosé: 5 full boxes, 1 box with 3 bottles, and 2 loose bottles
Merlot: 6 full boxes, 1 box with 4 bottles, and 6 loose bottles
