The College is seeking an innovative and experienced Peripatetic Viola/Violin Tutor with a passion for sharing exceptional skills and knowledge with students. The successful applicant will have a strong background as Peripatetic Music Tutor and be keen to grow and contribute to the team. Experience with tutoring Music from Kindergarten to Year 12 is desirable.
This role will commence in Term 1, 2026 and will be part of a agile and collegial Music Department.
The successful applicant will have:
- A Bachelor of Education or a degree qualification supported by a Post Graduate Diploma of Education
- TRBWA (not essential but desirable)
- A current Working with Children card (WWC) or willingness to obtain one
- A current National Police Certificate
- Commitment to the College’s Core Shared values of Respect, Integrity, Empathy, Knowledge, Growth and Synergy.
The following essential criteria must be addressed in your cover letter:
- An ability to foster a love of music and performance; and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
- Ability to employ engaging, phase appropriate delivery methods in music tuition from years Kindergarten to Year 12 (including ATAR, where applicable).
- Significant demonstrated excellence in tutoring Music across the years from Kindergarten to Year 12.
