About Us
Goldenwood is a long-established Sydney manufacturer specialising in custom solid-timber furniture, cabinetry and joinery. We produce high-quality bespoke pieces for residential and commercial projects from our factory in Wetherill Park, maintaining tight control over quality, materials and timelines.
We are looking for a reliable Factory Hand to support our production team on the factory floor.
The Role
You will work alongside furniture makers, joiners and finishers to keep production running smoothly. This is a hands-on role that involves general factory duties, basic machine operation and assisting tradespeople with day-to-day tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople with cutting, assembling and sanding timber components
- Load and unload materials, boards and finished products
- Packing, wrapping and preparing jobs for delivery and installation
- Keeping the factory clean, tidy and safe (sweeping, rubbish removal, organising stock)
- Receiving deliveries and helping with stock handling and storage
- Assist with delivering products to customer homes
- Pickup items from suppliers
About You
- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, joinery or similar environment highly regarded but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet all day
- Good attitude, punctual and willing to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport to Wetherill Park
Bonus (not essential):
- Forklift licence
- Experience with panel saws, edgebanders, sanders or other woodworking machinery

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.95 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
