We are a growing construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project. We take pride in developing skilled tradespeople and are currently seeking a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our team.
Role Overview:
As a 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople to learn all aspects of carpentry. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry while gaining hands-on experience and formal training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified carpenters with daily tasks on residential and commercial job sites
- Learn and apply carpentry techniques, tools, and safety procedures
- Perform general labouring duties, site clean-ups, and material handling
- Follow instructions and contribute to a safe and productive work setting
- Show initiative and a willingness to develop new skills over time
Must-Have Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Current driver’s licence - Red P's at a minimum
- Previous experience on a construction site
- Hard-working, motivated, and driven to succeed in the trade
Preferred (but not required):
- White Card / Construction Induction Card
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
