Your Day-to-Day
As an Accountant at BD, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of accounting and compliance, ensuring accuracy and integrity during this critical transition.
Your day will include:
- Preparing and supporting indirect tax calculations and filings (GST, Payroll Tax, FBT)
- Preparing, reviewing, and supporting corporate tax submissions
- Statutory account preparation and lodgement
- Performing sweep accounting and completing month-end close submissions
- Conducting account reconciliations and ensuring data accuracy
- Coordinating with third-party vendors for financial and operational support
- Managing customs duty disclosure requirements
- Handling ad-hoc general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
About You
You’re a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong technical knowledge and the confidence to work independently in a dynamic setting. You bring a solutions-focused mindset, a high level of integrity,
and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA qualification
- 3–5 years’ experience in compliance, tax, or general accounting
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
