Job Title: Qualified Carpenter

As we continue our transition to a strengthened in-house team, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Qualified Carpenter to contribute to our diverse portfolio of residential projects.
About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position for a carpenter who takes pride in precise work. You will be instrumental in taking our projects from frame to finish, working on everything from structural framing to detailed internal fit-outs. You will work closely with our full-time Master Builder and site team to maintain our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Your core duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures.
- Ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing detailed layouts.
- Cutting, assembling, and nailing cut and shaped parts with precision.
- Erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards, and verifying the trueness of structures.
- Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door/window frames.
- Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready for installation.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in compliance with safety regulations.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a qualified tradesperson with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to getting the job done right.
To be successful, you will have:
- Formal Qualification: Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience in residential construction.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting plans, material selection, and executing all stages of carpentry from frame to fix.
- Immediate Start: Available to commence within two (2) weeks.
- Essential Licences: A current and valid White Card.
- Transport: Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence.
