We are currently seeking applications for a suitably qualified and experienced Project Engineering Manager to join our local Henderson team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient, timely and cost-effective management of assigned engineering and maintenance projects and programs
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Co-ordinate resources, reporting, scheduling activities to effectively manage and direct jobs and report on progress of all engineering and maintenance projects regardless of discipline under your delegation.
- Attend operational and project engineering meetings being prepared provide, project updates, advice and support from experience, knowledge, and qualification.
- Estimate applicable discipline tasks including any supporting trade disciplines.
- Procure materials for all maintenance and/or engineering projects from approved suppliers, with oversight on job progress costing and budgets.
- Coordinate and controls the interrelationship between the various trades and ensures that subcontractors carry out work safely, efficiently and in accordance with the maintenance and engineering programmes.
- Monitor and conduct HSEQ and engineering standards to check on work performed by all workers or sub-contractors.
What you will bring to the team;
- Relevant bachelor’s degree qualification and industry experience (minimum of 5 years).
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the supervision and management of marine engineering/maintenance sustainment projects
- Ability to work in remote locations when required.
- Good knowledge of HSEQ systems, policies and procedures.
- Proven track record in successful engineering project management.
- Experience in HSEQ, Engineering, Personnel and Production Management.
