Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Continence Clinical Nurse Consultant to join the Continence Nursing team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
This role requires an experience Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide expert clinical service provision to clients requiring assessment and management of continence issues. You will be required to work across funding streams including Commonwealth Home Support Program, National Disability Insurance Scheme and Health Independence Programs. You will be working clients of all ages. This position collaborates closely with the multi-disciplinary team and associated services,
as well as consulting with relevant service providers and clinicians. Clients may be seen in the centre or at home.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience and good working knowledge of working clients living in the community with continence needs
- Proven ability to working multi-disciplinary team and ability to work with clients of all ages
- Demonstrated ability to undertake Continence clinical assessments, education and interventions with clients and carers
- Well-developed clinical and leadership skills
