As we continue to expand, we are on the hunt for an experienced Estimator and or/ Senior Estimator to join our team!
- Quantification and costing of construction work.
- Quantity take-off and preparing bills of quantities.
- Prepare estimates, quantities, prices, costing for projects.
- Interface with project managers and engineers to best manage risks and opportunities, as required.
- Understand and interpret detailed engineering drawings. Translate drawings for purposes of tendering, procurement, resourcing, project scheduling and risk identification.
- Analyse materials, products, or qualitative or quantitative work outputs for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Review tender documentation and information.
- Interpret specification and standards and assess their impact on project costs.
- Successfully support the team with other pre contracts and business development activities.
- Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about achieving results! Ideally, you’ll bring experience from a Civil Construction background, having worked across a variety of projects. Exposure to sectors such as Electricity, Oil & Gas, Rail, Water, and Renewable Energy will be highly regarded. Proficiency with estimating software is essential and if you’ve used Expert Estimation, that’s a big plus!
