Details: We’re looking for a dynamic leader to drive strategic communications and engagement across Economic Development. In this role, you’ll lead a small talented team to deliver audience-focused initiatives that support government priorities and create real outcomes for the community. Our communications and engagement team works across a range of interesting and high impact areas of government policy and operational delivery including arts, sport, tourism, major events and venues, business and much more.

You’ll bring a solid client service ethic, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate across government and with stakeholders to design and implement innovative communication strategies as well as lead media and issues management.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Relevant tertiary education qualifications such as in Communications, Marketing and/or Public Relations is highly desirable.
