Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced MDM Survivorship Administrative Assistant to join the Coding and Casemix team within the HIS department.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role requires a suitable candidate to work in an administrative role within the Coding and Casemix team based at 230 Cooper Street

The MDM Survivorship Shared Care Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing high quality and efficient administrative support to multidisciplinary cancer meetings (MDM’s) and to the Shared Care Survivorship clinics. The position description is attached which outlines the duties involved in this position.

To be successful in this role you will have:





- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team workplace.
- Proficiency in typing, word-processing and use of computer packages including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access).
- Exceptional organisational ability, time management and prioritisation skills, and ability to adapt to changes.
- Demonstrated commitment to a high quality of customer service whilst maintaining strict confidentiality.
