We are seeking an Underground Mine Surveyor to join our surveying team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the ability to move around, adapt and learn new processes while delivering high-quality surveying support to mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct underground mine surveys to support production and development activities at client sites
- Assist and provide surface survey support - end of month stockpile surveys, setout, pickups, prism monitoring, control network and traversing
- Prepare accurate plans, reports, and spatial data - mine plans, emergency plans, mine instructions, incident plans and other ADHOC requests
- Work closely with technical services team members and operational crew members
- Uphold strict safety standards and follow client protocols, rules and procedures
About You:
- Experience in underground mine surveying
- Proficiency with survey hardware such as Total Station, GPS, DJI Aircrafts, Hovermap / Elios3 / Exyn equipment.
- Proficiency in survey and mine CAD software
- Solid attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Minimum Certificate or Diploma level qualification in surveying or mine surveying is required
- Must have work rights in Australia
- Exposure in Open Pit and Underground surveying desirable
