The Opportunity:

We are looking for a motivated and practical Storesperson to take ownership of setting up our new in office stores at our Seven Hills facility. This is an exciting, full-time permanent role where you will play a key part in setting up and running an efficient stores environment; from receiving, inspecting, and organising stock to maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring materials are available when needed.

In addition to your core stores responsibilities, you will also support purchasing activities; sourcing and ordering materials, liaising with suppliers, and assisting with cost-effective procurement to keep our operations running smoothly.

This role is central to maintaining supply chain continuity and operational efficiency across our manufacturing team, while ensuring compliance with RPC’s safety, quality, and operational standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish best-practice systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as we grow our site capability.

The Key responsibilities

- Oversee all stores and warehouse operations, including receipting, inspecting, storing, issuing, and dispatching goods,



as well as maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records.

- Conduct regular stock takes, manage hazardous or sensitive materials in line with safety standards, and keep the warehouse organised, safe, and efficient.

- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs, source and purchase goods and services, and maintain optimal stock levels to support production and operational requirements.

- Prepare and process purchase orders, request and evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and expedite orders to meet deadlines.

- Maintain compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant legislation while keeping accurate purchasing and inventory records for reporting and audit purposes.

- Monitor supplier performance, manage non-conformance reports, and work with stakeholders to resolve delivery or quality issues promptly.

- Identify opportunities to improve stores, warehouse, and procurement processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a similar store, purchasing and supply chain role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

- Proven ability and proactive mindset to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities in purchasing or warehouse operations.

- Demonstrated experience working with supply chains, logistics coordination, and inventory control processes.

- Sound knowledge of Health, Safety,



and Environmental (HSE) regulations relevant to warehouse and purchasing activities.

- Competent in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. Proficient in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP

Desirable:

- Certificate III or higher in Warehousing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related discipline (or working towards) is desirable.

- Holds a current forklift licence.
